We are pleased to have been able to continue to provide students with cultural and learning experiences by including Virtual Tours into the school day.
Each year group has received different experiences such as trips to the Imperial War Museum: The Churchill Rooms, Trench tour, tour of Petra in Jordan, a 360-degree helicopter tour of New York, Stonehenge, Science Museum, Druridge Bay in Northumberland and the River Eden in Kent. Our Sixth Form students have regular access to various Live Broadcasts on a weekly basis, Mrs Nicholls Year 9 Construction class received a virtual site visit of a Wilmot Dixon construction site and Miss Harrison’s Year 12 Politics class engaged in a virtual session at the House of Lords! Mr Creffield’s GCSE Drama students also enjoy access to free recorded theatre shows and have allowed students to still experience seeing productions through this restricted time period.
